How to Login Gate.io account【PC】
- Go to mobile Gate.io App or Website.
- Click on “Log in” in the upper right corner.
- Enter your “Email” or “Phone number”
- Click on “Log In” button.
- If you forgot password, click on “Forgot Password”.
On the Log in page, enter your [Email] or [Phone number], and password that you specified during registration. Click “Log In” button
After that you have to slide to complete the puzzle
Now you are able to start trading!

Open the Gate.io App you downloaded, click on the profile icon in the upper left corner for the Log in page.
On the Log in page, enter your email address or phone number, and password that you specified during registration. Click “Log In” button

Forgot Gate.io Password

If you forget your login password when you are trying to log in, please do as follows:
Click on “Forgot password?” on the login window.
Decide if you want to reset your login password by email or phone number
Then you have to slide to complete the puzzle
Input TOTP or leave blank if TOTP is not enabled and click “Submit”.
An email has been sent to your email address, Please check your spam folder if you did not get the email in the inbox for a long time.
Click the blue link in the email.
Input the password twice here and click “Submit”
Then your password has been reset successfully. Please use the new password to log in to your account.
Mobile Device【APP】
Click on “Forgot password?” on the login page.
Decide if you want to reset your login password by email or by phone number. Then you just need to follow the instructions to complete the reset.
How to Reset Login Password on Gate.io
Mobile Device【APP】
Open Gate.io mobile app and log in to your account. Click on the top-left profile icon and go to “Security Center” – “Password (change)”.
Input your old password, new password (twice), and TOTP (Google verification code). Then click on “Confirm and Save”.
Web【PC】
Log in to your account. Move your cursor on the top-right profile icon and go to “Security verification” – “Password Manage” – “Password” – “Change”.
Input your old password, new password (twice), and TOTP (Google verification code). Then click on “Confirm and Modify”.
Note:
1.Withdrawal and C2C trading are disabled for 24 hours after resetting the password.
2.Your account will be logged out after the login password is reset. You need to log in again using the new password.
